Physics of Nanostructures

We invite students and young researchers to take part in the International School-Conference Smart Nanosystems for Translational Medicine (28-29 November, 2017), organized by the international research laboratory "Magnetically Controlled Nanosystems for Theranostics of Oncological and Cardiovascular Diseases" of the International Research and Educational Centre for Physics of Nanostructures. The aims of the conference are to present the current trends in the use of nanostructures in translational medicine and promote collaboration between young researchers. The conference gives young scientists the opportunity to attend Invited Lectures by experts in the field, present the results of their own research in oral or poster presentations, and take part in master classes on scanning luminescence microscopy.

Conference topics are:

- Colloidal Nanostructures for Biomedical Applications;

- Nanoplatforms for Photodynamic Therapy;

- Multimodal Nanosystems for Diagnostic and Therapy;

- Nanoparticles for Biomedical Imaging;

- Antibacterial Nanoparticles;

- Nanosystems for Drug Delivery.

Conference proceedings will be published in the journal Optics and Spectroscopy.
